Or maybe I should ask, what are the best careers?
Again, I'm not really looking for those wanna-get-rich-quick careers.

I would go to the Career Counseling center on Campus and take the Strong Interest Inventory - it's about 200 to 400 questions...and it would help me narrow my choices down to three potential job catagories...
what a minute...i did that...
I'm doing what my Strong Interest Inventory said I would be good at it...and I love my job.

I would get a degree in law. I would want to then become a judge and possible a Supreme Court Justice.
I would try my best to do the best for the people. But for me that is a career that is impossible for me because I started my education at 47 years old and am now 52 and a Junior, so that is not an option for me.
Instead I will probably open my own business and try and help the community as best as possible.
If you are young and know what you want...the possibilities are endless.
My fantasy profession would be to be a musician, the best gutarist in the world. In this dream, I would take my guitar and go and play on the street, just stand on the corner with my case open and play.
That is how I would get by....playing for tips, on street corners. Eventually I would get discovered and make millions, but would often go back to my roots and play on the streets, or in tiny coffee shops.
Strumming away the chords of life.

Know what I know now. I would go for a hands on job - Nurse, doctor, electrician, plumber, builder. i would not train for a job that can be sent to a 3rd world country (I already made that blunder)
I think I would like a field where I can make 2 things, a living and a difference. I would like to be able to help people and to make a difference in someone's life is a great thing.
A teacher is a good thing, so is a social worker.

I want to be a registered nurse specializing in Women's/Adolescent/Men's Health or Psychiatric Health. I'm on that path now taking all these insane pre-reqs

I'm going to study international law... i have always wanted to be a lawyer but I'm not so excited about criminal law or stuffs like that, so I decided to major on international law.

something that i really enjoy doing so i do not need to work for a day in my life . For example , if u enjoy doing housework , consider becoming a servant for me ... jus joking !
