Why isn't Simon Cowell judging instead of just producing the show? Why aren't the singers being judged along with the celebrities? What Simon thinks of the singers would be funny? I know that the singers would careless what he thinks. I wonder would Simon be too afraid to tell the professional singers that they're dreadful. What was the deal with his outfit at the Emmy's? That truly was creepy.

I am going to be going to school so I definatly need one thats reliable that wont crash or whatever on me. I also need one that has ALOT of memory space because I get alot of music and Im going to be takin alot of photos so they are going to be taking up the bulk of space on the computer. I also need a good battery life, because I between me going all of the places Im going I doubt that Im going to have much time to charge it. Thanks for the help.

I'm a high school senior this year, I'm thinking about apply to a college that has a good EE program. I thought about applying to Carnegie Mellon, Caltech or MIT but is afraid that they won't accept me. My grade in school is that top notched, I only have a gpa of 3.91, and my SAT score is really low because my bad writing and reading skill, my math is 790 though. Can anyone suggest me a good backup school that has a decent EE program that I probably have a good chance of getting into?

This originally had me completely befuddled, but I think I got it. Problem is, there is no way to "justify" my results, since I got to a certain point and simply used the "Guess and Check" method. I think I have a decent explanation and proof. Could someone check it for me? Here's the orignal problem:

One car has twice the mass of a second car, but only half as much KE. When both cars increase their speed by 6.0 m/s, they then have the same KE. What were the original speeds of the two cars?

Point where I got: (Initial Vi1 + 6)^2 = 2 (Initial Vi2 + 6)^2
This is what I tried from this point: I graphed each of them as
y = (x + 6)^2
y = 2(x+6)^2

I got to a point where at x = -6, y = 0 for both. Using this "explanation", I said V1 - V2 = 6.

Then, using guess and check with V1 - V2 = 6, I got approximately V1 Initial = 14.4775, V2 Initial= 8.4775

Is there a way to get the answers I got without using the guess and check method?

I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years now, about a year ago my boyfriend and I split up for like 3 weeks, When we were not together I had done something I regret, I slept with a guy that was suppose to be my friend. Well when my boyfriend and I got back together I told him on what I did. He said I cheated on him (even though we were not together at that time). I told him I was sorry millions of times. Well it's been a year later and the past 6 months my boyfriend does not spend time with me anymore, he spends it on his computer playin poker or with his friends. He only stays here once a night. He says he forgives me for what I did. but when we argue he rubs it in my face sometimes and I will still say sorry to him. I love my boyfriend with all my heart. I never want to loose him. But i'm affraid that he might be sick of me or doesn't love me anymore.. Please help
