Well [1]The ability of a planet to support life depends on its size,Only planets close to demensions of Earth can maint. stable water cycles free of those gases (sic) poisonous to life.[2] A life supporting planet must have a rotational period close to 24 hrs.IF it was as long as Kolobs thousand year Day(long time huh) the night temp would rise no higher than -460 degrees F. Daytime would exceed the melting point of lead + 620 degrees F.[3]A life supporting planet to close to many great stars would disrupt the planets orbit and would undergo explosions that would terminate the planets life form.[4] more fund. problems life support conditions are calculated to be absurdly rare in our universe, even with the existing hundred billion trillion out to the limits of the universe the possibility of finding even ONE planet with the conditions 4 life is less than 1 in 1 hundred quintillion. The mormon scenerio of millions of Populated planets is pure fantasy. Sorry. I care ok. you need to know.

If you are so scientific, don't you have other things to worry about besides Kolob?

You should read more carefully. Kolob is merely named as the planet nearest to where God dwells -- and since its location is NOT revealed, it probably means little more than God may prefer NOT to reveal where (if anywhere) He lives.
A more careful reading of the Pearl of Great Price would also reveal some interesting discussion about time, including the idea that time can be different, depending on where you are or how fast you're going. This discussion presaged Einstien's announcement that time is relative! The discussion represents a substantial enlargement of the Biblical verses saying 1,000 years is like a day to God.

There is no more Kolob than there is the planet Vulcan or Emperor Ming. It is a totally created falsehood, and the author of that fantasy follow the Gene Roddenberry of his day. He created the planet, the 700 pound tablets that he found the strength to carry back to his cabin, and the rest of the "religion" for his own personal gain. (where are the tablets if they exist? PROVE IT) People need to get real and quit chasing the lie.

You are assuming that God requires the same conditions to exist that mortal man does. Probably not a real safe assumption...
Edit: I am? I assumed nothing. I merely observed the assumption you made. The Mormon scenario of the possibility of millions of populated planets is one that is shared by many leading scientists and intellectuals. Where in the world did you get your "1 in 1 hundred quintillion" statistic? I'm 97.34321235% sure you're pulling that right out of Uranus.

Of course this screams that you know nothing about quantum physics or the possibility that we don't currently understand "everything". A good scientist knows enough to question the things they think they know. A great scientist questions everything including what they are certain they know. Finally, the humble scientist knows that just because he cannot yet understand or prove something does not mean that it cannot be known or understood.
There was a time when everything we now "know" was considered impossible and the best and brightest scientists of today are questioning and examining what we think we "know" now with the understanding that tomorrow we may learn what we "knew" was actually wrong.
Mindless following of science is just as bad as the mindless following of religion. Humility allows one to learn from both.

I am not discussing anything about Kolob, or even saying it exists, but what I hear you saying is God, being the Creator of all things and being all powerful over anything and everything, cannot live (or exist) where He wants too?

None are near to God. God is infinitely far from every world, yet He is infinitly close too each of them as well.

Kolob is malarky. There's no proof of it. Although, it is part of the title of the LDS church's most unusual hymn:
