My teen daughter thinks nothing of using the tumble dryer for 1 hour to dry 1 t-shirt.... ON A SUNNY DAY! And also thinks nothing of putting the central heating on full when a cloud appears in the sky, then opening the windows because she gets too warm. When I say anything... I'm old and moany. I'm only 34 but I hate being ripped off by the energy companies overpricing us.

I can't remember how to tie the shoes where it doesn't crisscross, they just go straight accross all the way. Two laces per shoe maybe??? Please help!

Personally only some of their first songs were OK, but their new song sucks and it obviously has been wraped by mainstream and pop, definately I dont think tey r goth.

I have asked, and answered some pretty screwed up questions on this website, especially one concerning immigration .. (and boy they dont like it if you disagree with the anti immigration league, there is a little klan of them)
And it seems to me that some people are hell bent on hating.. I have tried to put it more eloquently in the past, but failed .. so now i will ask .. why do you hate? what do you get from it? Can you not see that if you are Racist, sexsits, ageist, that its not a matter of people not agreeing with your decent thoughts, it is people not accepting unacceptable behaviour, and I am sorry but constant rantings about immigrants and how bad they are, do wind me up, and the anti klan - they can give it .. they sure can not take it... !!
I am to take the advice of many/most of you , and ignore them.. but I kinda wanna play with them.. but I am wrong arent I ? arguing and winding them up might make them feel silly, but that makes them attack and not change or think

I'm beginning to think commercials are minions of Satan. With TiVo and On Demand (DVR) I'm surprised there are still sooo many commercials still around. I usually stop my DVR box when the screen fades to black, run to the bathroom, get a snack, and then come back and hit LIVE on the remote so I can avoid all the commercials. I hate them I hate them I hate them. Ok, now that I've had my tantrum..please leave your opinions on commercials..and pick up your 2 points at the door. Thanks!

Is the punishment for murder different when they are illegal?? Mexicans stabbed my friend 11 times and beat him to death with a baseball bat. Because they are illegal, could that make a difference in their sentence? Are they still able to be sentenced to life in prison or the death penalty?

Especially when someone picks your answer, over someone else who is higher ranked than yourself?

Not the feeling of vanity coz you're smarter, but a good feeling that maybe you made a real difference to someone in need of an answer to their question thats been bothering them.

Sometimes, we're overwhelmed by our own concerns and obligatons, we can't think of the right solution. Even if is right under our nose. Someitmes, we just don't have the experience or wisdom to see something in a different perspective. There is the hope that there is someone out there who may have the answer to our question, and for a minute or two, they may take us seriously and give us a hella good answer.

It may just make their day, that feeling of relief and being able to go on with their lives - and sometimes, the answer is just so funny that it tops off the day on a good note, your troubles aren't as bad as you might of thought.
