I can't remember how to tie the shoes where it doesn't crisscross, they just go straight accross all the way. Two laces per shoe maybe??? Please help!

They cross on the inside of the shoe, and go straight across the top. Just go straight across on the first set of holes, then inside the shoe, cross them.

OR, you can just put through first set of holes, then take the left lace on the inside and poke through second hole and string across. Do the same with right lace on third hole...and so on.

Sorry if it's confusing. Good luck!

I remember doing this is the late 80's.

You still only use one lace per shoe. Start at the bottom hole underside like you normally would, and pull the lace most of the way through the top. Leave about 1" - 1 1/2" underneath so it won't pull out. Knot the end if you want. Then pull it across to the hole on the other side so that you have a straight line. Lace downwards into the hole. Come up on the underside to the hole above the bottom. Go straight across and lace it through the next hole. Continue going to the next hole above the last one you laced it through until you are done.

That's the best I can explain it. Also try a web site for more information.
