Good Question!

Satan is always poking fun at God - but I can tell the Future - God wins in the End!

you cannot offer up refuteable proof that there is no god any more than you offer proof that there is.
science and logic have also been just as responsible for the killing of the un-willing and non-conformancy of society as religion has.
and logic and reason might be the light of truth but it devalues the intimacy of the human soul, and the forbearence of tolerence most of the heinous crimes against man and society at large have been done under the glarring light of science and reason.
marketing of products to the general populace knowing full well the effects of said products, the use of media to sway conventional thinking or ideaology in a more fitting direction.
it isnt just realigion or dogma that over runs life, but the glaring lihgt of fascism and the use of science too corrupt and demean life as they see fit.
the destruction of lives for the use of science isnt a myth but a fact.
removing the idealism of religious freedom is a fact or to stamp out the fundamental need to belive as a part of human nature to gain control of society.
both science and religion can be used to rip apart humanity as a whole and they do so often and all through out the industrial age.
i still think that the truth lies somewher in between science and religion.
that nither can benefit with out the other.
it just may be that they are fanciful stories told in the bible the use of alagorie and symbolism to convey a message, but does that make it any more or less truthful than"mien kampf".
it was the science of philosophy that taught me too believe as i believe now.
and just as in science and in religion both are constantly refuted as each generation finds some interpretation of the old information. the classification of planets is being refuted as we speak, the theory of dark matter is also being put to the test do we really know as much about the universe as we think we do so much information that we gather from our technological wonders still is debateable as being fact or fiction.
truth is what you make of it,your truths are your own no one can show you truth or teach it too you.
the truth of science or the truth of religion.
i am not exactly a teacher or extremely well learned so i can offer no evidence too dispute your claims or too validate mine.
my typing stinks as well and the spell checker is taking too long

I don't obey things that don't exist. God doesn't exist, so I don't obey him. I obey my conscience.

I saw God & Jesus once, in a back alley doing 'that which is unnatural'. That's why I don't believe any more. And since that's my testimony, it must be true! Isn't that what Christians always say, "My life was nasty and then I found god and now i'm good so that PROVES it, my testimony is proof!"

Don't get in a panic! By not being afraid to explore you broaden your mind and further your understanding of the world around you. Do not follow blindly, and know your heart.

Why should I obey what he says if I don't concur?

I don't make fun but I don't believe either, there is a big difference and it doesn't make me 'not nice'.

Who's this "god" you speak of... Oh you mean that fake dude that's supposed to be up in the sky?!?! Wither people believe in god or not, that's really NONE of your business, and it's our choice what and who to believe in!!!

Do not confuse rudeness with frustration. Many people here project their beliefs as absolute truth. To agnostics such as myself this seems diluted and ignorant. We have as much right to express our beliefs as you do you expound yours.
