My car stalls sometimes when I start it, no warning lights, no other problems. Advice?

I have a 1999 Olds Alero. It runs and drives great, and it usually starts up fine. About every fourth or fifth start up, the RPM's jump around and the car stalls out. I restart it and everything is fine, the RPM's go directly to between 500-1000 and it idles great. There are no warning lights lit up on the dash. It never stalls when I am driving or stopped, just those few times on start up. Any suggestions on where to look?

how come my boss is so mean to me now?

i gave my notice at work. was not able to give 2 week notice, but only 1 week. i think thats enough. now he is all mean to me. being unprofessional around me and making me look stupid in front of others and putting me down with words. why? cant he realize im moving on? how can i go through with this until next week? what should my attitude be like? im so upset now. he has a way of making me feel bad. but for what? i dont know. i want to leave now but i also want to be nice and give him time to find someone else.

If you were a Christian, wouldn't you want to get to know the real Jesus, and the some bad translation?

Disclaimer: I'm an agnostic

Wouldn't you want to learn about the REAL Jesus, not some book that was translated and mistakes were made. Wouldn't it be about learning about what he might have really said, and not what some st jerome translated in 400AD in rome because he was thought to be the "smart" one, or cause some king in 1611 said sure go with it?

Wouldn't your love of him who changed your life not be dependent on words on one page in one verse, but the history behind how that verse got to be in front of you in English?

One of the reasons I am an agnostic, is in my own spiritual journey, I learned of the translation errors.

The message of love humanity is clear, but wouldn't you want to try and learn and become familiar with why what it is is in the modern English Bible? Even if it wasn't in the oldest copies of the original?

Which job should I call to inquire about?

I want a job close to home (because I don't know how to drive yet) and part time but not sure which one I should inquire about first. (They all have a choice of part time or full time.) The country club across the street from my house is looking for waitstaff and they pay 10-15 dollars an hour+benefits if I qualify. The seafood market is looking for counter help and the bank is looking for tellers and will train they're both across the street from eachother about a 5 minute walk from my house. The thing is at the county club and the bank I will have to purchase some clothes that I don't own yet and I don't want to spend money for a part-time job the bank I will need atleast a blazer and nice shoes and the country club I will need to buy black pants because all they offer are the shirts. Atleast at the seafood market I can wear my everyday clothes there. Also I'm 19 and this will be my second job ever. I also have a 2 year old and tons of help from my family.

How do you make time for TIME?

We seem to be constantly making time to decorate, rearrange, enjoy, manipulate and/or construct Spaces and Objects, but what do you do to purely enjoy Time. Do you meditate, make love, drive fast, jump out of a plane, ........? What do (or can) you do to just explore and enjoy TIME itself (and for its own sake)? …. Is such a thing even possible?

somebody help please!!?

it's a long story, my mom has been driving across the united states
since i was 10 because of dad's job we had to move every six months or so but lately my mom can't even drive to the grocery
store i don't know why? she says that she thinks she's going to roll over in the slightest curve or when she's above 40 mph i've seen her and her arms get hard as a rock she starts to panic really bad and sometimes this attacks can go away for 1 or 2 weeks but it always comes back and worst of all nobody believes her my family says she's just making it up but i do believe her because i've seen her when it happens i want to help her i don't know what to do now i have to drive her everywhere i don't mind but i'm really worried can anybody help please i'm desperate i want my mom to be back to normal.

Do you guys believe in God?

There is no proof besides the bible, which is a book that has been edited hundreds of times by the church (which by the way makes money from all the people who believe in God) What do u guys think?
