I'm using the formula F= G*((m1*m2)/r^2)
Since i no the force of gravity is 9.8 m/s on earth, i input earth's mass(5.9742*10^24 kg), my mass(50 kg), and the distance between the earth and me(6.372*10^6 m). The gravitional constant is 6.6742*10^-11 m^3 s^-2 kg^-1, i run the numbers and i end up with 491.0180353 kg m s^-2, not even close the 9.8 m/s, what am i doing wrong?

If people lived forever, would you be concerned about making your life 'meaningful'?

What would 'meaningful' be defined as? Remember, you have all of eternity on earth to do whatever you want. You can't kill people ('cause no-one dies), but you can do whatever else you want.

Don't think about how we'd age or whatever, just about the question. Or about eventualy getting to heaven or what-not.

Actualy, it kinda seems that without either death or God, we have problems here. I could go in circles about this forever.

What do you think?

Religion (especailly Islam) is really destroying and causing problems for everyone. Why do people, in this day of age, still need to believe in some mystical diety in the sky that will zap all the wrong-doers and send them to hell and then send you to a heaven place.

Hopefully humanity will wake up one day.

A bully scratches in a profanity word on someone else's locker, and the owner of that locker sees it, wanting to paint over it so one could see it. However, he can't without getting permission from the principle, and he says no u can't. If the owner of the locker takes things into his own hands n paints the locker anyway, would it be considered vandalism against school property??? Just curious!!

Most of the conservatives on here are "parrotting" bush, coulter, o'reilly, limburger, and hannity's statements that liberals are soft on terror and are not worried about our country. So my gf for a year never had a problem with sex once we started when she was turned on she'd tell me (ect.) but we stopped for a little bit so that she could get on Birth Control to be safe, now that she's on it she doesnt seem to ever wanna have sex, doesnt tell me anything, and if plays games with me and tell me that i need to find out how to turn her on (ect) so now having sex is not really good for me because i really feel like she doesnt want to, wat should i do? and i dont wanna come across that all i cared about was the sex too cuz i do love her but its just so frustrating now. thanks

I was bulemic for about 10 years - so got in the bad habit of binging. Then I stopped doing that about 5 years ago...Now I can't lose the weight I gained when I stopped throwing up... I started to gain alot very fast..... Does anyone know what will help me? I don't binge anymore - but I still eat alot when I get stress out. I get stressed out alot...
