Most people that are 18 still need time.
Follow your heart.
But the reality is this: You.. will change.
He: Will not.
People become set in their ways... all of us....
you included.
You say you have "feelings"....
Feelings and love are very complicated.
Your feelings are normal....
But you need to realize that you..
yes, you... have your whole life in front of you.
Marriage, children... commitment... family.
I don't know how important these are to you...
But they will define your life.
And at the age of 18....
That's a big question.
You should be having fun...
you are only young once.
The key words here, according to you, are
"sorta" and "have feelings".
That's normal.
The key word is "love".
You left out half of the "equation"...
How does he feel about you?
For your sake, I hope he isn't married.
Good Luck!!

You sort of have feelings? First figure out if you do or don't have feelings for this guy who is ALOT older. If you don't have any...forget about this ALOT older guy and try to find a guy closer to your own age...say at least under 30. If you do have feelings for this guy who may be in his late 40's...forget about him and try and meet a guy closer to your age....sat at least under 29; more like 25.
Just think about it for a moment...if he is 45, then when you turn 30 he'll be 57. Most people under estimate my age by 10 years...good genes I guess. When my dad was 70 years old he looked about 55. So this ALOT older guy may even be 50 years old......you can do the math.
I am 52 and when people ask me how old I am (since I work in Iraq) I ask them how old they think I am. Their normal reply is between 40 and 42. Again, it's just good genes and I run and work out at the gym so it helps. Really, do you want to be hanging around a 57 year old guy when you're 30? At 52 I don't think I would want to be going out with a lady of 64...a 12 year difference. OK, if she had a few million dollars she wanted to share...then maybe.
Your choice but I suggest you find someone closer to your age that you enjoy being with.
Good luck.

Think realistically... your feelings are spontaneous. Give it time, try to focus on something / someone else. Go out with your friends. Talk about it with them. You don't even know this guy, and you're already letting him get you wrapped up? Put on the brakes, and find someone near your age!!!

U R of legal age and an adult...... I assume you have dated others and they were your age or around it ?? all I can say and tell you is this..... be very careful and watchful of your heart and soul on this one..... older guys can tend to take advantage of much younger girls , such as you... they want the arm candy..... a show and tell barbie doll.... a neon sign that screams * look at me all you losers* * look who I got with me tonite ! *.... so be weary but open....... and be very very careful....... take it slow and easy...... get to know this guy...... you can not always tell a book by its cover........God bless
