Do you think that it's okay to become good friends with co-workers, or should you keep your relationship strictly professional?

I'm just curious...at my last job, I became really good friends with a co-worker, and it made it really hard to leave the job. We didn't associate outside of work until after I left the job, because the company looked down on it, but now we keep in touch and see each other every once in a while.

Often when i talk to someone or look at someone, i feel akward to look them in the eye (i usually look at the face, but not the eyes) i almost feel like im invading them or something...is that weird or do other people experience it too?

it's funny to watch the women on here get so upset about the dumbest of things. like when some dude starts a "would you give me a bj?" thread....it's fun to watch all the comments. the most popular one is where they tell the guy he's a perv....like duh, all guys are pervs, big news flash there. i would think that by now they would just come to expect that of guys and that it wouldn't be a big deal, so why the unjustified outrage?

remember, guys will be guys!

I am not looking for a yes or no answer; nor am i looking for your opinion about what you think about people who DO seek out therapy.

If you are curious why I asked it, your stories help me deal better with my issues.

(almost like being a group therapy!)

Just tell me your story--stuff like how old you were at the time (even how old you are n-o-w if you want), what your isuues were (or issue), and if you felt that you were helped.

I am not asking you to tell me names (yours, your therapist or anyone else involved with this) OR where you are from.

Just YOUR story.

BTW, no judgement on my part, I am just interested in what makes people " tick."

Usually i'm a laid back person, good sense of humor, if i'm comfortable, but I don't talk about......stuff that does'nt matter to anybody else I guess. So lately, i'm teaching myself to kickbox(because I watch old stuff like Floyd Patterson when it's on someones ESPN). And today I knocked the ******* bag off of it's hook. This is the second time it's happened. I turned into this monster when I was doing it, and tears started coming out of my eyes and I kept going for like fifteen minutes. I'm not a very emotional person, but I have my moments which are always behind a locked door. So this was kind of weird. Is this healthy? Am I going to wake up in the middle of boxing with purple sweatpants and a green body?

I see people coming here with dumb homework question and it is too easy to see they copy the question off the textbook! if its hard we will give it shot to help you! but if its stupid, then you should be working hard!
you are cheaters! you are really cheating yourself! you actually dont learn anything and end up failing! then it becomes the parents are to blame for it!

I love anime, but I dont know what else to buy that is good and anime is expensive. I already like Samurai X, Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin, Dragonball Z and Samurai Champloo.
