Usually i'm a laid back person, good sense of humor, if i'm comfortable, but I don't talk about......stuff that does'nt matter to anybody else I guess. So lately, i'm teaching myself to kickbox(because I watch old stuff like Floyd Patterson when it's on someones ESPN). And today I knocked the ******* bag off of it's hook. This is the second time it's happened. I turned into this monster when I was doing it, and tears started coming out of my eyes and I kept going for like fifteen minutes. I'm not a very emotional person, but I have my moments which are always behind a locked door. So this was kind of weird. Is this healthy? Am I going to wake up in the middle of boxing with purple sweatpants and a green body?

Noooo! No green body no purple sweats. You obviously got rid of some hidden stress, stuff u dont talk about that really matter deeply but if it makes u feel better knock the hell out of that bag!

you keep your emotion bottled up inside you for a significant amount of time...it's time to let it out, and kickboxing is a good way to let it all out
if you live anywhere near me, i'll kickbox with you...i love martial arts and i wish i can afford a punching bag at home

No...your just letting out frustration possibly. Nothing's wrong with you...all of us have our moments like that when we just zone out and don't really pay attention to what's going on...and just keep doing what we're doing with increasing strength until we finally 'wake up'

its normal to get frustration and anger out, in a healthy way :) what is not normal or i should say good for you, is to keep it bottled up. keep after the bag.

It sounds totally natural, but i wouldn't let it affect your training in any way, otherwise it could be very dangerous.
