hymen is not really far up,it's like outside the vagina.and the weaker part of it(it's made of mucus)might be torn easily.i know that, but i still don't feel comfy enought to switch to tampons.

Even though your hymen is intact, there is still an opening large enough to use a tampon. Start with the junior size at first. After a few times, it will be very comfortable and certainly not as messy as pads. Just remember to change the tampon regularly and always remember to remove the last one each month.

Reality is a state of mind and virginity is just a concept out of fairytales and religion. When someone writes a fairytale about tampons on includes a chapter in a holy scripture about using maxipads instead of tampons, that's when you should worry about whether or not it has the power to change a woman's "virginity".

The pope disagrees with them, but if the pope couldn't keep Queen Mary married to Henry XIII, I think it's still up to you.

Tampons are small enough to get in there with out tearing the hymen. And if it does you are still a virgin because you have to have sexual intercourse to not be a virgin.

I don't know how up the hymen is, but I think it is pretty far up there.
I do know that physical activities (supposedly horseback riding) can break it. Mine might have been broken as a child when I fell on my hardsoled shoe, because nothing bled on my "first time".

yes you can... most of the gals I've known (including myself) were nervous about using tampons at first but it doesn't affect what makes you a virgin...

Start with smooth plastic applicators first if your nervous.

tampons are small enough to fit without breaking your hymen.
