The blinking light is probably blinking a sequence of numbers that are used to diagnose the problem that the motherboard is having. Check out the website for more info. Usually, those lights blink a certain number of times to give you a number code. If it blinks twice then three times, the code would be 23.

There may be a power issue. Is there a "Reset" on your power supply? If so, reset the power supply. The flashing light may be an indication of a "no power" situation to the mobo.
