MIND GAME

2% or 98%

This is strange...can you figure it out?

Are you the 2% or 98% of the population?

Follow the instructions! NO PEEKING AHEAD!

* Do the following exercise, guaranteed to raise an eyebrow.

* There's no trick or surprise.

* Just follow these instructions, and answer the questions one at a time and as quickly as you can!
* Again, as quickly as you can but don't advance until you've done each of them ... really. * Now, scroll down (but not too fast, you might miss something.)

Think of a number from 1 to 10

Multiply that number by 9

If the number is a 2-digit number, add the digits together

Now subtract 5

Determine which letter in the alphabet corresponds to the number you ended up with

(example: 1=a, 2=b, 3=c,etc.)

Think of a country that starts with that letter.

Remember the last letter of the name of that country.

Think of the name of an animal that starts with that letter.

Remember the last letter in the name of that animal.

Think of the name of a fruit that starts with that letter.

Are you thinking of a Kangaroo in Denmark eating an Orange?

I told you this was FREAKY!! If not, you're among the 2% of the population whose minds are different enough to think of something else. 98% of people will answer with kangaroos in Denmark when given this exercise. Keep this message going. This one is actually worth sending on to others. Forward it to people you know so they can find out if they are usual or unusual.

i recently moved from North Carolina and there was this place called Lumberton North Carolina....i'm not from Lumberton but lived about an hour away from it....there were these people that look puerto rican that call themselves Lumbee Indians....everyone used to tell me that they weren't really a tribe of Indians but they just called themselves that and were actually a long time ancestry of black and spanish mix settlers....they got denied National Name Citizenship or whatever it's called to claim themselves as real Indians....has anyone ever heard about these Indians? They say they are the largest tribe in all of the South....i don't think they are real indians but they will fight you if you tell them they aren't Native American....any info would be appreciated from any "real" Native Americans....thanks....

I have had firefox for about 2 months. Just today when I check my Yahoo mail its fine for a few emails but then says:

Firefox has caused an error in MSVCRT.DLL
and will now close. If you continue experiencing problems try restarting your computer. Which I did-3 times. The only thing different is I downloaded Yahoo Instant Messenger and installed it the day before yesterday. Anyone know the answer to this?

I like to throw things together in the kitchen to see what I come up with. Tonite I mixed 1 lb. hambuger with 2 small cans of tomatoe sauce and 1 pkg. of stove top stuffing mix and fried it all up. I didn't notice any excess grease while it was frying now that I think about it, so I'm sure it soaked everything up. My question is will that make me and my family sick?

Why is the sugar in milk, fruit, vegetables, etc. better for you than that in chocolate bars, candy, etc.? Obviously there are other nutrients that you're getting with the milk and fruit, but when just comparing the sugars why are those better? Why do people say not to worry about them?

you are stealing music so everyone that wants it can have it without paying for it. Individuals' rights mean nothing as the wide majority of people are welcome to it..

However they didn't call me today and the results were suppose to come and now the office is closed. Is that a bad thing? I'm really worried......If something were wrong would they delay giving me my results......? Experiences would be nice

1. Questions that are advertised by being asked more than once by the same person. (I do sometimes answer such questions, but not if I notice they are repeated).
2. Questions that are advertised by being incomplete so that you have to click on them to get any idea of what is being asked. Do people not realize how impolite that is? (And no, I do not consider my present question to be that sort of question.)
3. Questions that are advertised by being framed in terms of what 'you' think, or has happened to 'you', or what 'your' experience of X has been - or almost any question that includes the words 'you' or 'your'. (An allowable exception in philosophy would be a question like "What makes you 'you'?")

I'm considering posting the following question three times in a row: "Would you answer... [click on link] ...an incomplete question that irrelevantly asked 'you' about 'your' whatever?"

Does how you view the importance or enjoyment of your work affect how much dedication you give to it? Do you have a hard time relating to people who view their work differently? What if you work for or supervise someone whose opinion differs greatly?
