you are stealing music so everyone that wants it can have it without paying for it. Individuals' rights mean nothing as the wide majority of people are welcome to it..

Horray for Communism.

Yeah, it's kind of like communism. A few artists spend their time creating something, maybe one person buys it, and then shares it for free with anyone who wants it. Communism contemplates everyone gaining from a few people's special talents where capitalism rewards those who produce.

Great for indie artists but bad for established artists and recording/producing/distributing companies who spend money on advertising and production. However, there are benefits other than money when people want to hear your music. We are still a capitalist society and maybe those who were rich off of music are now disgruntled because people don't think music is worth that much to them anymore. I will pay $.99 for a song I like but not $15-20 for maybe three good songs. That is capitalism at work.

It is illegal, but rarely enforced so under the current scheme it is really not "illegal" per se at all. Unenforced laws are not really effective. This will probably change once Congress becomes more "media-savvy".

Communism is undesirable for various motives, all too complicated to describe, basically as communism is basically too perplexing to describe. Communism encourages the thought something carried out to pursue communism is advantageous and dandy and the suitable ingredient to do. for this reason you had interior the U.S. the everlasting dictatorship of the proletariat. In thought this point became meant to final a little while until the revolution became over, yet they found out that people who took ability, the leading edge occasion, weren't prepared to enable circulate of the flexibility. So, they have been extra or much less waiting around for the full international to insurrection, so they might enable democracy and whatnot back. an significant false impression is that communism is undemocratic. it particularly is in actuality the main democratic form of social business enterprise each and every devised. it somewhat is in elementary terms very difficult to enforce. this could be a one short clarification why human beings conceive of communism as undesirable. there are various extra, and that i'm particular which you will discover some Neo-Marxists who might provide an entire-throated argument for communism. I trust the impulse to communism. no one merits extra stuff than every physique else, finished end. each and every person is equivalent interior the main effective of words. yet I somewhat am bring about espouse a social democratic view, with short term coverage objectives of turning the U. S. into something like Sweden. it would be constructive to stay in a state the place each and every physique is assured rather lots what they might desire to subsist, the place the wealth distribution is rather tight. it particularly is impossible to have a real democracy with lots hierarchy everywhere as there exists now.

One is a crime, the other a political philosophy! How you can equate the 2 is beyond me!

I am sure Little Richard and all the other black singer/songwriters are happy to hear you are so concerned about stealing music, especially theirs! When are you going to pay them 5 cents for the music that was stolen? Pat Boone liked it fine though!

Music is basic human stuff. The people who write the best music SHOULD want to share it. Even if it doesn't make them rich. Its reasonable to expect to get some money for music once a person becomes famous. I think maybe its weird that just a few superstars make millions and the people writing the best music only get a few bucks. I would give my music away for exposure , then try to make money on albums and concerts if I were a good musician. Music belongs to all of us. When its expensive, I will listen to free music, or play it myself.

its not communism, communism has re-education camps
this is an age old problem
100 yrs ago, if I bought your sheet music, learned your song on piano, and then taught it to a guitar player and fiddler, didn't I do the same thing?
I have 1000's of tapes and records and no way to play them now
How can I load them into my i-pod??
so If I 'Napster' some song I already bought on vinyl, how can that be 'stealing'??
i already paid for my copy, why do i need to buy a CD too?

The music industry needs to come to terms with technology and change how artists are compensated.

What else on your computer is using 20+ year old technology like CD's?
