The best thing to do is reformat the computer. This wipes out all data, including Windows itself and gives you a fresh start. Make sure to back up all of your data before you do this. If you have a name-brand computer like a Dell then you should have a restore CD that makes the process easy. Just insert it and turn your computer on.

You need to run anti-virus:
Try norton's tool here: http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2004-112210-3747-99

Try spybot http://www.spyware-bot-destroy.com/spybot.htm?OVRAW=spybot&OVKEY=spybot&OVMTC=standard

Try http://www.tenebril.com/downloads/

All of these take time but may fix your problem, without buying a new computer
