I have had firefox for about 2 months. Just today when I check my Yahoo mail its fine for a few emails but then says:

Firefox has caused an error in MSVCRT.DLL
and will now close. If you continue experiencing problems try restarting your computer. Which I did-3 times. The only thing different is I downloaded Yahoo Instant Messenger and installed it the day before yesterday. Anyone know the answer to this?

I had Firefox and uninstalled it. It doesn't work very well with Yahoo! Mail along with several other sites. If you want a good browser that wirks good with Yahoo! I suggest you download and use Internet Explorer 7 Beta3 optimized by Yahoo! that is what I use and I don't have any problems at all with Yahoo! Mail or any other sites. I can be reading my mail in about 10 seconds after I sign in. I also have Avant Browser and it is a great and fast browser.
