My Father died of lung cancer that's why im scared that it would happen same thing to my hubby. I convince him many times to stop smoking but he won't listen. He does smoke when im not around with him.

As Christians, we can easily say we are in love with God and totally committed to God from the comfort of our homes where the worst we face in persecution is from either people on this board or possibly a nasty comment.

But what if we were in a place where being a christian and staying firm for the cause of Christ could mean death, torture, or slavery? What if being a Christian would mean not being able to buy or sell to survive or possibly executed for our faith?

How do we get to the point that we will stay firm to the end in our relationship with God? That no matter what befalls us we will not reject Jesus?

What is even more pathetic is the second case of military men, those who thought they are educated.

But they can't even order the US Presidents from 1st to 43th.

They don't even know what the Truman Doctrine is.

They don't even know what the Eisenhower Doctrine is.

They don't have the slightest idea of the history of US involvement in the Middle East.

.....And they say they wanna fight in the Iraqi war to protect "our freedom."

Yeah, freedom my a ss.

Why can't we have exercise bikes with decent sized seats? Most have uncomfortable seats that are NOT wide enough, and so do not support the spine properly, and give one a `pain in the butt'! This does not exactly encourage exercise as a result!

I owned an apartment in California. I believe statue of limitation is two years here. I understand lawyers won't touch it, but can a person still file a suit in small claims court? Or will they look at the date of incidence and throw it out?

She had a traumatic past with physical and sexual abuse. I found out after we got involved. I have been with her two years off and on. I have never met anyone I have cared so much about. Everything was fine and one day something happened and she forgot everything about us. She remembered our friendship but nothing else. She freaks out anytime I start to say something about it. She refuses to talk about it, and she does not want to deal with the problem or get any help. She has problems yes, but I cant help how much I care about her. She is the only woman I have told I loved and was honest about it. She does think that I am telling her the truth about everything, but there is still that look in her eye that shows fear every time that she looks at me and she is afraid to be alone with me. I want her back in my life and I need help. I have done everything that I can think about. I care about her so much, but what do i do? how can i make things right with us? I need help.
