Why can't we have exercise bikes with decent sized seats? Most have uncomfortable seats that are NOT wide enough, and so do not support the spine properly, and give one a `pain in the butt'! This does not exactly encourage exercise as a result!

I have never understood that and it makes me angry that I have to then go out and buy another more appropriate seat for the bicycle.. PERHAPS that is the reason for the uncomfortable seats.. so customers can immediately go out and buy another one..

I know, in the market, there are sized seats in silicone material. And the silicone is good for our spine

I agree that it's a design flaw.

Have you tried writing a manufacturer with your complaint and suggestion? It might bring you a little residual income from royalties, if that's what you're after and you handle it right. And it could make many others more comfortable!

I can't understand why someone would sit on their ***, and peddle to nowhere. Get a real bike and ride...

As far as saddles go, do about 600 miles on one of these:

...and you'll never want to ride on any other.
