OK, my brother is getting married in 2 weeks. His fiancee (the bride) sent me a link with pictures of her wedding dress several months ago. I thought it was gorgeous when I saw the pictures, but kinda forgot what it looked like as time went by...... In the meantime, I bought a dress for myself to wear to the wedding. I absolutely love the dress I bought, but I am now in a dilemma... I revisted the pictures of the bride's wedding dress, and realized that the dress I just bought for me to wear is very similar to her wedding dress! I didn't even realize that when I bought my dress! Maybe someone else has been in this situation and can offer some insight?

My boyfriend and I have been together for just over 6 years. We've lived together for 5 of those years. We just moved into our first home together, and are getting ready to "start our lives together" at age 23. After we moved in, I got this feeling like "thats it?" like part of my life just ended or something? All of a sudden I felt not so ready to "settle down". And now I'm worried that the next step is him proposing. He's a great guy, treats me very well. But I can't help these doubts. Is it bad that we've been together for over 6 years and I'm still not sure if he's the one I want to marry?

Any adivce?

everynite when my dad comes home i wanna puke. He always comes home at the exact same time. my dads a chemistry prof at the university, total nerd and genius. He wants me to get a doctorate one day like him. i wanna play sports and hang out. i wish he would disappear. my parents are both nerds. my mom teaches violin at the university.
my dad looks like a geek. plus hes jewish, which i am also but my dad has a big nose and glasses. my main goal is to not be like him. today he was in my face about being home late from school. so i went so far as to ask him why with all the people that die in car wrecks everyday on the freeway, why isnt he one of them. he rushed off upstairs and i think he might have went in the bathroom and puked. when he came down about 45 mins later he was all smiling and flirting with my mom like nothing happened. but his eyes were red and still he wont look at me. so as of now im kind of depressed. if i go to sleep i'll probly have nightmares. any advice???

I'm 16 and am just gettin into the singing thing cuz I think my voice has finally gotten over the cracking think. But when I try to hit higher nots I crack and after a certan point my voice dies. Singing is in my family (which are all baritone) and they can all hit really high nots. I can't even sing to LA on the Do RE ME scale.

so i've liked this girl who has a cottage down the lake from mine, for a really long time. I go down there every weekend because our parents grew up together and the 26 kids down there love me. They do tease me and her alot because they found out that i have a major crush on their sister/cousin. the girl is a year younger than me but she is real mature. she however isnt into dating that much. she is always on my mind and i can't get over her. and this being the last weekend of the summer i want to finally make a move on her but i dont want to ruin our friendship or freak her out. I'm taking an online class this semester so I'm always on the computer. The only trouble is that when I check my mail to see if my professor has written I see something from Yahoo!
