If there's a guarantee of a broken heart, that isn't true love. It may be unconditional love on just your part but not the other person's. Since there is no reciprocation, you can't call it true love.
I'd still choose that anyway if only because when everything is platonic, it gets boring after a time.

Is better to have loved than not loved at all. Simple as that. The guarantee of a broken heart isn't true love.

The people who have never loved at all are going to answer "true love with a guarantee of a broken heart" -- and vice versa. The grass is always greener.

I would choose true love...for a delicious, home-made German Chocolate Cake and the impending heartbreak of having no more after devouring it. I would much rather suffer this way than to never have experienced that delicious cake. Why??? German Chocolate Cake Rocks!!! Besides, I do not like the idea of breaking someones heart.

isn't it always better to experience something than not having to experience it at all...esp. something like LOVE and that too TRUE...so true love with a guarantee of a broken heart for me...you live only once,so why dont try to live every moment,feel every emotion,live each feeling...
