what do you prefer on the opposite sex? Personally, I go for brains. Because Looks can only get you to a certain point and thats it. But with brains can get you far in life. Plus when the guy that im dating is like talking to a brick its just pointless. So yea i go for brains. What about you?

Over the last 10 months I have dated and been engaged to a somone who is use to getting his way. He has a work position in which he always calls the shots; however, in a personal relationship I feel he needs to learn equal peer input and consideration. In addition, the way he deals with conflict resolution is "beat it--i.e meaning he bullys in your face his righteous opinion" or dismisses it--meaning I will avoid this conflict by not having my fiance be part of the weekend with the children and I--only the birthday part piece.

when i was growing up in india, as a young boy i once asked my pakistani muslim mother this question

' mummy, how can muslims say that the quran is god's word when it contains so much horror stories?'

this is what my mother told me
' son we muslims usually believe rubbish'

its 25 years since my mother passed away and her words always echo in my mind.
do you think my mother was right?

i didn't know until i heard it on the radio and they had people talking about how their families separated from them when the hurricane hit. it was so sad to hear about that and they still are not done with reconstructing everything. i also heard that it will take up to five to ten years before it gets better. i read i think it was the ebony magazine that new orleans was 75% black now it's mostly white. i was so shocked!!. it's just some information i had to give out. what is your response on this?

Blonde in NY

A blonde walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan Officer.

She says she's going to Europe on business for three weeks and needs to borrow $5,000.

The bank officer says the bank will need some kind of security for the loan, so the blonde hands over the keys to a new Rolls Royce.

The car is parked on the street in front of the bank, she has the title and everything checks out. The bank agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan.

The bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the blonde for using a $250,000 Rolls as collateral against a $5,000 loan. An employee of the bank then proceeds to drive the Rolls into the bank's underground garage and parks it there.

Three weeks later, the blonde returns, repays the $5,000 and the interest, which comes to $18.41. The loan officer says, "Miss, we are very happy to have had your business, and this Transaction has worked out very well, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multimillionaire. What puzzles us is why you would bother to borrow $5,000?"

The blonde replies, "Where else in New York City can I park my car for three weeks for only $18.41 and expect it to be there when I return?"

Cellphone was stolen and we didn't have it insured. We aren't "eligible" for an upgrade till 7/07. Where can I find just a plain phone without a camera that won't cost us $150 or more. And if I get one will they (cingular) activate it and let me use it with my existing contract? We just need something for my husband to use while at work or out hunting.

I have a big problem, and anyone who answers this, God bless em! My problem is my boyfriends mom. I have been with my bf for 8 years (i'm 23) and over those years she has said and done some pretty shitty things to me. For example, in front of me she asked my bf who he loved more (he said i love you differently - good answer) She also said to me "oh it is a good thing you arent' pretty like I used to be when i was younger, people are so jealous." What is up with that!!?!? My bf's dad just passed away 3.5 months ago so she is super dependent on my bf. (she always was) Her husband and her almost got a divorce and were not that close, she always used my bf as a substitute husband. The problem now is that my bf was given the house and she plans on staying there for 5 years. I am wondering where that leaves me. She said to me the other day (just to get me riled up i know) "what if i never leave? You will have to live with me forever." The thing is I won't, she is crazy, help!
