I'd call it soft rock-
The lyrics were something like this:
"well there's a little boy standing at the counter of the corner shop.
He's been waiting down there, waiting half the day but they never ever see him from the top.
He gets pushed around, knocked to the ground.
He gets to his feet and he says-
What about me, it isn't fair, I've had enough now I want my share,
can't you see I wanna live,
but you just take more than you give..."
I'm not even sure of the title, it might be "more than you give." I think it's late '80's or early '90's.
This is driving me crazy.
Anyone remember it?
