How Do You Evaluate Success

2016-09-28 07:22:48 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

Success depends on your goals and objectives in life career, family, etc. You have to have a clear thinking on what you should really want to achieve. If you have already set your mind on these things, then measuring your success is not hard to do. Success is actually the result of how much you achieved. Basically, if you're successful, you are also happy and contented.

Whenever I think about how successful I am I always think of this poem. I think it truly sums it up: Success is... To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.

Dear Friend,
Stop for a minute and ask yourself this...
Are you satisfied with your life? I mean really happy!
Do you have…
a rewarding career,
a warm and loving family,
enough money to buy the things you really want,
and the time to enjoy your family, your friends, and your hobbies?
Do you jump out of bed every morning absolutely excited to start the day and take on the world?
Now think ---
If you knew that the next 5 or 10 years would hold more of the same, would you look forward to these years with enthusiasm and a zest for living? Or do you have something else on your mind… something that maybe is nagging at you from the subconscious… that inner voice telling you that something's not quite right … that the days are passing quickly and your dreams you've always pictured are starting to fade?
I realize those are tough questions - but be honest with yourself - more honest than you've ever been in your whole life. If well meaning advice from your friends and family, or reading 'self-help' and 'how to' business books has only gotten you so far - isn't it time to try something different?
Yes, you really can be successful in achieving your goals.
You can count on it!
4 Secrets to Success
"Get rid of the negative influences in your life. Surround yourself with people who have positive attitudes. It's contagious.
You can spend years and years trying to learn things from books. But if you want to succeed in something quickly, find a mentor or a group of people who have succeeded doing what you're trying to do. Listen and ask questions - find out what strategies worked for them and learn from the mistakes they made.
What works today may not work tomorrow. So watch for changing trends and continue to learn from others who are on the cutting edge of change. And lastly,
Set goals, take one day at a time, and have fun."
Whatever you desire in life … buckets of money, the awe and respect of people who now doubt you, a crowd of new customers, a new home, a fresh start, the love of your life, almost anything at all … you can attain it with the powerful, simple secrets I'm going to share with you.
"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."
Think about it …
What's the fastest way to achieve your goals?
Get inside the minds of people, just like you, who have succeeded in their professional and personal lives - and learn exactly how they did it.
What's the slowest way?
You can continue to go the direction you are going now, without a clear picture of the end result, without a proven strategy, and without the guidance and motivation of others … learning from "the school of hard knocks" and over-priced "how to" books and tapes from self-professed experts. (As it turns out, these self-proclaimed "business gurus" are wildly wrong about what the really successful professionals are doing. They've got the marketing wrong, the sales approach wrong, and they don't even consider the psychology of the prospect. Their information is no better than the advice you'd get from a proctologist regarding lasik eye surgery. It's completely off-base, and dangerous to your business in its assumptions. Of course, these "experts" only talk about sales and marketing because they want to sell you their own fancy consulting package, or training manual, or a subscription to their magazine.)

Sucess is being satisfied in personal & career life. And being sucessful doesnt always mean at top. It has different meaning for everybody, one can be sucessful in his eyes, but the same can be unsucessful in other people's eyes or vice-versa. Well I eveluate sucess as number of times my wife communicates me that she loves & she respects me.
