if uve seen david blaine's shows u can see it is phsically impossible to do the stuff he does, i personally think hes a angel, not to sound all gay but seriously, hes always talking about martin luther king and ghandi, and all that good stuff, either hes a angel or a genie or knws black magic? if u dont think so come up with sumthin better

on one of his shows he pushed a cig through a quarter. this coin can be bought at a magic shop for 6.50. after that i lost interest in him. i also looked up on the net many years ago how he levitates. he did not invent the trick and he also uses tv camera trick shots to fool the tv watcher. some of his other tricks can be bought at shops too. still i think he is a good entertainer when all is said and done.

Considering the fact that you can go to sites like http://www.ellusionist.com and buy the books, DVDs, or supplies that David (and Chriss Angel) use, I would have to say that he is just a magician.
As another magician, I have to say that he is a lot better than I am, but I don't particularly think he is all that good. A lot of his tricks are really, really easy- it is the way he is selling them that makes them at all special.
Seriously- you think an angel or genie come to Earth would go on TV and do things like make cards appear on windows or twist their arms around? Why? If he had any REAL powers, why does he only do stuff other magicians do without any powers?

First, I think he is not only amazing, but quite hot and sexy too. I dont think that he is an angel or anything though.
Now Secondly, I must admonish you for using the phrase "not to sound all gay..." It is wrong to describe something negative as "gay". It perpetuates a negative stereotype of gay people...

Though I appreciate the spiritual aspect of what he says, the tricks (except the endurance ones, those are training) are based on the basic principles of magic, deception, diversion and mechanisms. The secrets to may great illusions are secret, and I hope they stay that way, but they are in the end, illusions.
