if windows has it how can i find it?

mac isn't the only one because i have sony and it dooes it. actually i think every computer has it. all you have to do is click on your control panel and go to devices and sounds. it should be somewhere in there

No, Windows can also do it! I've tried it only in Windows XP Professional Edition though. It's in Control Panel, double click the "Speech" icon (make sure you're in Classic View). choose the "Text to Speech" tab, and there you will find a text field. Just type and click "Preview Voice". Simple.

No. PCs (the old ones) used to have a DOS program called "Dr. Sbaitso". It did that and even answered some questions. I'm not sure where to find it. Adobe Acrobat 7.0 will do it for you too.

I did know how to do it but I forgot. You can do that on Windows. And you can even choose the voice it says it in.
