..by physical work I mean do you need to carry heavy things (besides patients!). The reason I ask is because I'm a skinny built guy (24 years..145lbs pants size 30!). I was thinking to become a fireman, but i think that'll be too hard on me, plus i tend to have back pain. So now I think i'll become a reserve fireman and a fulltime paramedic. Any thoughts for those in the field? Recommendations?

If ur in love with someone who u have been with for nearly a yr and u broke up, would u give up on that person. I have been seein a guy for nearly a yr and i love him so much and he really cares about me but he feels like he cant give me what i want. The other problem is i was with his mate for 3 yrs before and he actually loves me and wants to be with me. We broke up cuz he treated me like **** and realised he loved me when we broke up. I do care about him but i dont love him. Would u give up on the guy you love or would you give ur ex another go?

My son wants to get his ear pierced. I am not sure if I am comfortable with this. I'm thinking this may be just a phase. His friend has his ear pierced and I think this is why the sudden interest. I know people take their babys in to get their ears pierced and I had mine done when I was eleven. I know if I let him my Dad will flip out. I have told him of the pain and how he would have to clean it everyday to avoid infections. What are your thoughts? Should I let him or tell him to wait till he is older? Right now I am leaning towards not letting him but I am interested in others perspective on this.

I like a male colleague of mine. I didn't tell anyone that I liked him and we hit if off and became fast friends, even socialising outside the office. One day, I told a female workmate of mine that I liked this guy. And she spread the news to a few people at work. Needless to say, the guy I liked heard about it and asked me if I liked him. I said I did and he said that he was flattered but he only saw me as a good friend, and he didn't see us going any furthur. He said that he wasn't dating anyone else at the moment and had no wish to enter in any relationships any time soon.

One year on, we remained as friends, and never brought up this issue again. However, he has no idea that I still like him. I have tried dating other people, but I don't find them suitable.To complicate matters, another female colleague likes him as well! He told me that he doesn't have feelings for her. It is awkward when the 3 of us have to work on tasks together or when we are at office function. help.

Plasma is said to be a mixture of ions electrons and atoms then why do we consider quarks as plasma.?
quarks make sub atomic particles but they doesnt consist of ions or electrons.
