these term are related to anatomy/physiology. i know the dicitonary definition which is:
distal-away from the body of origin-point of attachment (knee is distal from thigh)
proximal-toward the body of origin-point of attachment (elbow is proximal to wrist)
intermediate-between the medial/lateral surface

i know the dictionary definition but i don't understand the meaning. if you could explain them in layman's terms with examples. it would really help. thanks.

I'm just curious - because I am in the US and I just assume that everyone else is too. That's just me being naive. When I read some questions about things that I have absolutely no idea what y'all are talking about, like some French guy or something, it hits me that y'all are everywhere not just here. I'm just wondering where all of y'all are.

Yesterday as I was walking home from work, a big St. Bernard ran to me and started to bark. Then I stopped a talk to the dog to calm him down. He stared at me and started to bark. His owner says that the dog isn't usually like this. My dad always says that dogs don't like me because they sense that I am not a dog person? Could it be possible. My dad says when he walks in his neighborhood, dogs never bark at him. What gives?

We are getting ready to have a wedding where the booze that we buy is not going to be free to our guest. We are charging everyone a dollar per drink. But in the same instance we do not have a liquer liscense. Is it illigal or can we get away with it. Then place that we are having the reception is a public wharehouse that has approved us to have booze on the property but we did not mention that we were sellling it on there property.

I have seen many tutorials that are recorded sessions of program usage. Lets say I want to create a tutorial on how to use a feature on Frontpage 2003... I would record the screen as I use it, while narrating...

What program is used for this?

I'm looking into buying a 1998 4-Door Suzuki Esteem. Everything on it seems in good working order. The mileage is kind of high, about 150,000 but the owner has recently fixed a few things on it. Everything seems up to date and I don't see any thing that could be wrong with it.

I've always wanted a foreign car, as I've heard they're more reliable, but I've heard that Suzuki and Mitsubishi and not very good foreign cars, but Honda and Toyota are. Does this mean that all Suzuki cars are crap? It just seems like a really good car at a good price ($1,800). I appreciate your opinion on it. Thanks!

Hi!

I have an important question, and need a real answer.

I'm expecting a baby, and the father and I are not married (I've just divorced). Can ,under british laws, the baby have is father's name? Or will he take my name?

We live in switzerland, and are both Swiss/British. Can the baby have both nationalities? He won't be born in Britain, so no sole right, but the father was born in th UK.

Thank you for your replies.

Cheers.
