Try something like a finishing glosser/shining agent. Rusk makes a good one. It come in a small bottle, about $10-$15 dollars, but you need very little of it. Just before your hair is dry, or after, rub some through your hair. It has a slightly oily texture at first and makes it a lot more smooth (great for dry, permed and colored hair as well). Then you can style as normal with gel or mousse, blow dryer, etc. And no, your hair doesn't look oily after it is absorbed.

There is also a great leave-in conditioner made by Image called Intra Kera. It is available in the U.S. I actually order it through a seller on eBay. You put a small amount in your hair right after your shower and leave it in. Use daily and can be used before the above mentioned product. It is good for your skin as well, and for those that have a problem with razor burn - on face or legs or ???, it is also good to shave with. Together these should help make your hair easier to style and feel better to the touch.

I have sun bleached hair and it can get very dry from swimming in pools with chlorine. I use both of these products daily - have been for several years, and my hair is very soft - even after having it bleached/highlighted.

You will need to start using moisturizing products/conditioners. Even if drugstore bought, go for the higher end brands, Pantine and such, or salon purchase Matrix, Paul Mitchell products. Anything conditioning, or even leave in conditioners. Also go get a cut. Removing the dead, dry hair can help too. Must focus on restoration before style. Hope this helps

Give your hair a good treatment once a week for dry, frizzy hair. Like VO5. There are also other products out there as well. I would also use conditioner everyday. There is conditioner by pantene that works good. Check it out. Take care. Hope this helps!!!
