You don't mention why you are depressed, or how long it's been going on.

Is there are a reason behind this? If it's been going on for more than a few weeks, call your doctor and ask to be seen. If you're having trouble sleeping, they may give you something to help, or even put you on some kind of anti-depressent.

If it's something short term, just try to get out there, like the other people said. Go see a movie, go for a walk, etc.

Why are you so depressed? Talk to someone about what's happened to make you feel this way. Do not suffer in silence. Just remember there are people out there suffering much worse than you. I've been through a lot in my life but I never allow depression to beat me because I know I'm stronger than that and you should too. Sometimes life doesn't seem worth it but believe you and me it is, everything happens for a reason but once you get through it you will be a stronger and happier person I promise.

Keep your mind busy with something non-related to whatever is bringing you down. Personally, I clean, or go thru my closet for clothes to give to the salvation army, or go for a walk and possibly take pictures of simple things. Appreciate the things around you, like water, air, clouds. Not everyone gets to appreciate those things...so don't take them for granted.

I find doing something nice for a total stranger like, buying the person behhind you their coffee or letting people over in traffic....
you get the gist of it.

go to the pet store and pet the animals, be careful though I did this and ended up getting a puppy. It's not bad though she makes me smile every day

EXCERSISE! EXCERSISE! When you excersise your body releases endorphins, which make you feel better. It really does help. When my dog amd my best friend died, I went for a run. When I cam back I wasn't as sad as I was before I ran.

Go visit someone who is less fortunate than yourself and make their day instead. They will feel better, which in turn will make you feel better. Kills two birds with one stone. Trust me it will work xx

watch ur favourite movie (nt an emotional one) or jst listen 2 some of ur favourite lively songs.
