I sliced my fingertip open while cutting onions six days ago.It hurt,and bleed an awful lot,but the bleeding stopped the same night.I've been using bandages on it,but it continues to hurt all the time.I know it's too late for stitches now,but should I see a doctor for it anyway? What could he possibly do six days after the incident?

What are early remedies for cold sores?

I woke up this morning with a huge blister on my lip. It hurts & I'm afraid its the beginning of a cold sore. I haven't had one in years..... So I dont remember what to do to treat them. I remember they are painful. So whats the quickest way to get rid of one?

Is there a way to get rid of an annoying tic? Has anyone succeeded?

I'm 23 always feel the urge to stretch my back and neck seemingly without any purpose. I've had this problem for some years. People usually don't notice it but some do. Does it work if I try not to do it for a long time? Has anyone ever managed to get rid of a tic? Are there any possible natural remedies for tics?

How shall we encourage people to donate to civilian war victim assistance efforts?

Hello- I thought I would throw this out to the community here and see what people thought. My wife, some friends of mine, and I run a non-profit that assists landmine and bomb accident s survivors in Vietnam, Cambodia and on the Thai-Burma Border.

Our organization is called Clear Path International.

We just received a matching grant for our work in Vietnam from the US Dept of State... so they will match donations to us.

My question: What do YOU think would be a great way for us to raise awareness of our efforts? What can you think of that we have not yet?

What paint to use to paint shoes?

I am trying to paint my white canvas shoes, however I am not sure if I should use acrylic (which I already have) or fork out some money on fabric paint, as it is advised.

Many have talked about acrylic mediums, but I am not sure what they are and what they are for.
