The Kalam Cosmological Argument says "Since whatever begins to exist has a cause, there must exist a transcendent cause of the universe". However, as I understand it quantum mechanics says that existence is probabilistic, rather than deterministic, and is therefore uncaused.

Does QM therefore disprove the KCA?

I'm in kind of a bind. I'm dating this amazing girl, smart, caring, affectionate, beautiful... but there is only one draw back. She has a best friend that always needs to be around her. Seriously, if her friend is not at work, she is hanging around us, getting in the way. Whats worse is that she doesn't have a car so my girl has to drive and pick her up at work every night and she works at a damn bar. In other words, my lady and I will by lying asleep in my bed at night and her friend will call at 3am and need a ride, its so frustrating. WHat can I do about this?

I'm writing a romance-type novel and I'm wondering if anyone has ideas on how I can find a romance critique group to work with? I ask her all the time if she is ok but she just tells me it is none of my business, so I just quit asking how she is.
