it is not offical yet for me and my friend. but we've been getting close in a resemlence of a relationship for about 3 months. to most people i see here it seems like a long enough time for more "private relations" but to me it just seems like a really short time.

I was wondering why doctors do numerous blood tests prior to surgeries and operations? A friend of mine recently had some cosmetic work done and she had at least two or three blood tests done in the days leading up to the procedure. Do the doctors need to know whether the blood is healty in terms of its contents (bacteria/viruses)? What do they test for in some cases?

I have a small bamboo that has been growing from the leaves for about a year and it is about twice as tall as it was when I bought it. However, the actual stalk of the bamboo is the same height. There seems to be some hardened green paste on the top of the stalk (which was there when I bought it) and I wonder if that has anything to do with the stunted growth. Is there any way for me to get the actuall bamboo stalk to grow and not just the leaves?
