I know someone who worked at locks of love.. and they are not all what they are cracked up to be! There is trailers upon railers of human hair, and there are only a handfull of people getting wigs throughout the country. They sell the rest to wig makers---
I think you would be better off contacting the childrens alopecia foundation, and see what they can do for you!
But- That is a great idea! -- I hope someday locks lof love will be looked at more closley! You can contact www.naaf.org I think....

there is a program that is nationwide called Locks of Love. If you go onto the internet and google it, it will give you the address and the conditions/rules or donating your hair. I do know that it has to be 10 inches or more to be eligible. your hairdresser needs to brush your hair straight down and put it in a tight braid, then he/she will cut it off (the braided part). I admire you for doing this, hope it goes well, and hope you have enough hair!
