I have asked several questions directed at the christian faithful, and while I am a non-believer, I am still someone who seeks knowlege. My question is why do christians get so upset and defensive when anyone asks questions about their religion. Asking questions is how on gains knowlege....like the scientific method.
I can ask the same types of questions to other religious groups without the defensive attitude but for what ever reason christians seem to either quote scripture or become irrate....please enlighten me.

Know of lady who talks to her insecure male supervisor. She is open about things though she remains private and reserved. She has over 30 years command in the department compared to him.
Do people feel not threatened by insecure people?

I have to cover my ears all the time in the street while walking, because these crazy a*s people have this booming loud music and don't care about us. When people have grown up with loud music can they never change??? Sure, they don't know me, they don't know that i have a terrible ear damage and it hurts really bad with loud music, but still even if they knew, would they even care? And also, don't they ever think that people in their own private homes don't like to have their houses feel as if there was an earthquake going on? Many times when the neighbor gangsta kid puts his loud stereo on, my house and windows vibrate and it feels very annoying to have that for hours.

I think Bush's ultimate goal is to take out Iran. Hezbollah is one of Iran's main military ally so if Israel can infiltrate Hezbollah and dismantle them, it will somewhat weaken Iran's military power and will be easier for Bush and his Admn. to go and launch another attack on another nation's sovereignty. I really belive Israel attacked Lebanon with the preapproval from Bush Admn. Otherwise Israel wouldn't dare to attack a country considering that they just elected a new President. And their ultimate goal (Isreal + Bush Admn) is to go after "Iran" and destroy it since Iran is the only country that can challenge Israel.

why does my mam/mum/mom, say i'm ugly, i know it's not any "heat of the moment" bullsh*t, coz this is the 25th or 30th time.

i know that i am though, i would willingly slice my face up, just so as i would have a decent reason to walk round wearing a mask.

but surely she, of all people, should love me for who i am as well as how i look, no matter what

my best bit was when benny was interviewed by henry magee, benny played oriental type person and magee could not quite understand what benny was saying, which left a lot of misunderstanding which led to a lot of humour.

I would like to pasture our horses in an area that would included woods and brush. It will be an area of about 1 1/2 acres. It will include some oak, balsam, spruce, hemlock, pine, maple, soft maple, and pople. It has an abundance of wild blackberries. If I move my horses into that area from a grassy pasture, are there apt to be problems with any of the above mentioned trees/bushes? Will the horses founder from eating the blackberries? Are the two small oak saplings going to cause my horses problems? The land is sandy and mossy with some grassy pastureland. Please offer your advice. Thank you so much.

I've heard from some americans before who say that it isn't really accepted in america to be bi or a homosexual, is it true and why. It's the complete opposite in the u.k as most ppl are up for switching their sexually from one day to the next. There are a lot of people these days pushing Christian Fascism under a variety of names: Theonomy, Christian Reconstruction, Dominion Theology, the "Christian Nation" movement. They are zealously partisan Republicans who have more and more sway in the Party. The fact that they are using legitimate political means, and USUALLY push it without violence does not change the fact that it is an illegitimate objective. Our government was designed to be a secular one, leaving religious choice up to the individual. Government is not allowed to show favoritism to any particular religious philosophy-- that's the essence of the Non-Establishment Clause. Christian Fascists are so resentful and heedless of this restriction that they deny its validity! Such radical arrogance needs close monitoring, and our repudiation.
