my best bit was when benny was interviewed by henry magee, benny played oriental type person and magee could not quite understand what benny was saying, which left a lot of misunderstanding which led to a lot of humour.

My favorite was whenever they would do a skit like the old silent movies. And also when Benny would pat the little old man on the head a few times.

Benny Hill continued to be popular in the US long after he fell out of popularity here in Britain. His attitude towards women was seen to be rather demeaning.

I really didn't like Benny Hill. I watched it in the 60's or 70's only
because there were scantily clad women on there. And at the
time sex & nudity were a no - no.(In the US)

I remember the show and couldn't stand it. Looking back now , there's no way something like that would be shown on TV now, some fat balding sexist chasing women around and tearing their clothes off. It would be criticised for what it is, sexist, dated and sad.

I liked the half naked women. I was WAY too young to be watching it as it was almost porn for a 9 year old boy!

Loved his show, it was hilarious. I don't think an episode ever failed to make me laugh.
