How can people be so hateful? There are words of hate in almost every topic page about every type of person. Gay, Straight, White, Black, Mexican, Asian, whatever...we are all human beings and we are all in this world together. Why can't we all just get along. How do people feel that it is ok to express such horrible feelings? Don't they see how awful these thoughts make them?

I'm used to a gas stove, but my new apt comes with electric.

I usually cook in thin stainless steel pots (from India) and non-stick frying pans. My freind said I might have to get copper-bottomed pans and stuff. Is that true or can I use my old stuff?

Also, what about round bottomed pans? Should I get flat ones instead?

And last, what about baking? I have glass cakeware, aluminum cake pans, regular baking sheets, and those foily bread pan things. Are these ok?

Is electric slower, faster, uneven, or anything else I need to know?

Within days after my father passed away my Stepmother and step siblings began dividing my dads things and going over his will.I had no idea, because no one told me it was happening.I missed out on the divisions of everything. Ive asked family memebers what dads final wishes were and was told about a will that left certian things to certian people and with no mention of myself or my bioliogacal little sister in it. Just stepmom, stepsister and one of my two stepbrothers. What was not mentioned in the will was left to stepmother who sold and gave away valueable things without even asking me if there was anything I might like to have. Including family heirlooms. My feelings are hurt and nobody cares. Is that so wrong? Ive been told by stepsister that everythings long gone, sorry about your luck, even legaly nothing can be done about it now and that because stepmom had all rights to dads property she also had all rights to disteribute things to people she wanted to give them to.

On the surface it does admittedly seem like she's trying to avoid me, and all my friends tell me to stay away from her and that I make her really uncomfortable, but I just know that deep down she has to like me. Don't you all think it is still possible that on some level she's just testing my level of devotion, and really actually enjoys it and wants me to continue? I feel certain that if I just keep at her, eventually she'll give in and be glad she did!
