It's true. Really. I tell this to girls in bars, but none of them believe me. In fact, they roll their eyes and walk away from me. I would think this makes me kind of unusual and interesting. But it's like they don't even believe me or something. What's up with that?

Within days after my father passed away my Stepmother and step siblings began dividing my dads things and going over his will.I had no idea, because no one told me it was happening.I missed out on the divisions of everything. Ive asked family memebers what dads final wishes were and was told about a will that left certian things to certian people and with no mention of myself or my bioliogacal little sister in it. Just stepmom, stepsister and one of my two stepbrothers. What was not mentioned in the will was left to stepmother who sold and gave away valueable things without even asking me if there was anything I might like to have. Including family heirlooms. My feelings are hurt and nobody cares. Is that so wrong? Ive been told by stepsister that everythings long gone, sorry about your luck, even legaly nothing can be done about it now and that because stepmom had all rights to dads property she also had all rights to disteribute things to people she wanted to give them to.

I went to a nice restaurant today and the hostess and one waiter was very rude. She did not greet me, did not give me a menu (she just pointed at a table and did not walk me there). I had to walk to the table myself and she didn't give me a menu. Customers that came in AFTER me, she walked them to the table and gave them a menu and they came in. I had to walk up from my table to the front and ask for a menu after waiting 5 minutes. I finally complained to the manager. I have ears and I could hear the waiter (The waiter was not my waiter but guy standing next to the hostess) talk about me and how I complained to the manager. Mind you this is a hispanic restaurant and everyone working there is hispanic and I am asian.
I complained before I got my order, does this mean they spit in my food? someone else served it to me from the kitchen and maybe I am paranoid. The food looked fine but I was just wondering if they retaliated.

It is a true drama living in today's world where complacency to all things stupid seem to be not only acceptable, but almost mandatory.

Joe and Rhoda had a small apartment in the city, and they decided that the only way to pull off a Sunday afternoon quickie with their 10-year-old son in the apartment was to send him out on the balcony and order him to report on all the neighborhood activities. To a young boy, they thought, spying would be a lot of fun and would distract him for an hour or so. The boy began his commentary as his parents put their plan into operation:

"There's a car being towed from the parking lot," he said.

"An ambulance just drove by."

A few moments passed...

"Looks like the Andersons have company," he called out.

"Matt's riding a new bike and Hey! The Coopers are having sex!"

Joe and Rhoda shot up in bed. "How do you know that?" the startled father asked.

"Their kid is standing out on the balcony too!"

What ever feels good do it!
If it makes you happy!
Do what your heart tells you!

This is very sad to me that we live in a feel good in the moment time. With little to no regard for who it hurts or effects in the process. Rather we realize it or not every choice we make is infact effecting someone else. What is soooooooo terribly wrong with doing the RIGHT and JUST thing, instead of just what pleases us. I am just curious, im not all worked up about it or anything, just dont understand it.

A Southern boy goes off to college, but he only got about a third of the way through the semester before he has foolishly squandered what money his parents gave him.

Then he gets an idea. He calls his Redneck father. "Dad," he says, "you won't believe the wonders that modern education are coming up with! Why, they actually have a program here that will teach Fido how to talk!"

"That's absolutely amazing!" his father says. "How do I get him in that program?"

"Just send him down here with $1000," the boy says, "I'll get him into the course."

So, his father sends the dog and the $1000. About two-thirds of the way through the semester, the money runs out. The boy calls his father again.

"So how's Fido doing, son?" his father asks.

"Awesome, dad, he's talking up a storm," he says, "but you just won't believe this: they've had such good results with this program, that they've implemented a new one to teach the animals how to read!"

"Read!?" says his father, getting even more excited. "No kidding! What do I have to do to get him in that program?"

"Just send $2,500, and I'll get him in the class."

His father sends the money.

The boy has a problem. At the end of the year, his father will find out that the dog can neither talk nor read. So he shoots the dog.

When he gets home, his father is all excited. "Where's Fido? I just can't wait to see him talk and read something!"

"Dad," the boy says somberly, "I have some grim news. This morning, when I got out of the shower, Fido was in the living room kicking back in the recliner, reading the morning paper, like he usually does. Then he turned to me and asked, 'So, is your daddy still messin' around with that little redhead who lives on Oak Street?' I was shocked."

The father says, "I hope you shot that lyin' son of a b-i-t-c-h!"

"I sure did, Dad!"

"That's my boy!"
