in the show roseanne, does dan leave roseanne???

The last episode of Roseanne, Darlenes baby is home and recieves visits from each cast memeber (it is really cute and touching, Becjy and Mark reveal they are having a baby while looking at Darlenes baby) Roseanne makes the family say Grace before thier pizza dinner in the living room, and she notes that people should give thanks all the time not just when something good happens.
then at the end Roseanne is sitting in her office in the basement (remember the one Dan and the kids built for her bday?) and she has just finished writing a book, but she says she changed alot in the book....
Dan really dies at Darlenes wedding due to the heart attack. She felt so cheated and angry at him that in her story she had him cheat on her with another woman (never happened)
She was so depressed she started wishing she had all the money in the world, so in her book she imagined winning the lottery(no wonder why all those episodes were so wierd right?))
Beverly (her mom) was not gay afterall. But Jackie was.
Fred and Leon were not married...in fact Fred was just Roseannes probate lawyer who she imagined to be with Leon for her story.
And lastly, Mark was really Darlenes boyfriend and David was really Beckys boyfriend...Roseanne always thought they would make more sense the other way around so she switched it for her story....
It was the saddest, most thought provking series finale I have ever seen... I cried so bad when i found out Dan was dead...also th eshow ends with Roseanne alone in her regular old house (no more rich fancy house, she wasnt really rich!)

He dies from the heart attack he had. The whole lottery win thing, and him cheating with the nurse was made-up, like a dream

he did briefly when he was attracted to the nurse who was helping take care of his mom..but when he decided to go back to her, he couldn't he stayed in a hotel close to the airport, and then decided to go back to roseanne.

Faith got it almost all right, but Fred and Leon was not together in dream or reality on show. Fred was Jackie's ex-husband and Leon was with a guy named Scott.

considering the obnoxious ***** she turns into, I always wondered what took him so dang long...yes, they took a break...and in that extraordinarily lame series finale, yes, he's dead (and probably a lot happier) and the entire series was a fantasy...fact is, the only reason I could even stand watching the show (and that was on days I could ice skate in Hades) was John Goodman...look at it this way: at least he STILL has a career...where's she been lately?

I believe he died. The lottery and heart attack recovery was just a dream.

no, he dies in the end from a heart attack or something, but he could've during the show but they are together in the end

yes he does for a short time. then he dies at darlene's wedding later on.

i think so. he cheated on her with a nurse. he either leaves or she kicks him out. i'm not sure.
