It's true. Really. I tell this to girls in bars, but none of them believe me. In fact, they roll their eyes and walk away from me. I would think this makes me kind of unusual and interesting. But it's like they don't even believe me or something. What's up with that?

Well no one believes me when I tell them I am from the Third Planet in the Rukbat system. The Planet is called Pern, and I rode my Bronze Dragon, Horanth, but they don't believe him either. So I feel your pain. People just aren't very trusting these days. Are they like that when you come from? I usually only leave the Weyr (I'm from Benden) to fight Thread so I don't know how the people of Pern are. Of course on Dragon's we can go Between times not just places. (BTW Going Between is like teleporting, incase you didn't know).

Because time travel is completely irresponsible and despite the already declining IQ and rationality of today's society, I doubt that the future society would be so reckless as to create a time travel device of any kind.

Honestly, I wouldn't believe you either. I have to much going on up here to even try to consider the notion. I'm trying to stay sane, and even if you were a "traveler" I wouldn't allow myself to believe it for the sake of my own sanity . Yes, denial is my scene.
