Well im not sure if i impressed this guy or not at this karoke/games nite at my friend's house (his friend 2).

well i was at this karoke party at my friend's house and this hot guy that i like called jacob (i knew him b4 the party; he came ova for lunch coz my mum invited him), who my friend kristi overheard him and his dad... his dad: there goes ur gf (when i walked past)jacob: shhh i dont want her to know, and i dont no if i impressed him at the party. i sang "these words" by natasha bedingfield (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-lwkrTC-yA) on singstar and my friend said i got the rise perfect and i scored "hopefull". he was always smiling at me ,according to bianca and kristi, and i smiled back and the first time he looked surprised and kept on smiling. the second time he wasnt AS surprised. i chatted to him lots and we doubled up on this 80's song and got sooo close! it was SOOO cool and he looked like he couldnt believe it was happening (in a gud way)if bianca asked if he wanted to double with me. we won even tho hes tone deaf and after we (the whole group), finished dancing i went up to

him and said "jacob will u go out with me" he had this surprised expression (like: "did she really say wat i thort she said?") and sad "wat?" but not in a bad way. i lied and said amy dared me to but i DIDNT say that i didnt like him. after that i had to go get a foto before i went coz my dad arrived and he casually came up and rested his arm on me and the chic standing to me but then was told to sit down and was touching my leg during the foto.

in the car going home kristi said that she overheard a conversatio with jacob and josh.
josh: do u like anybody
jacob: yeah that girl over there called talia (me)
josh: shes alrigt
jacob: do u like anybody
josh: yeah this girl at school u wouldnt no

wat do i do? bianca and amy said nothing interesting happened after i left! do i sent him a link to youtube with these words and l.o.v.e. by ashlee simpson? (iv got his email) WAT DO I DO?

look,this is not really as complicated as u think.

the guy likes u much,and u really started well.

keep in touch with him like a nice friend and try to see him as much as u got the chance. he will tell u by then that he likes u.

and ur friends didn't tell u anything happened after u left maybe coz 1. they felt jealous
or 2. nothing real happened.

but as i told u keep in touch with the guy. and be the way u r because he's already falling into u!!

I think you should e-mail him and not send the "love" stuff right away.

I think you should start by chatting. Asking him how he is and get to know him a little.

He is either very shy or just giving out the wrong signals. Either way you owe it to yourself not to push too hard with the whole thing. The father comment could just be his dad trying to embarass him and you don't want to rely entirely on that.

You failed to mention whether he said he would go out with you or not?

When I e-mailed him I would ask him if he wanted to meet for coffee (or a pop) or something to chat. That way it's you and him and you can just casually talk and see where things lead.
