I love this man to death and I am excited to be marrying him. The problem is that he seems to have some very deeply programmed things in his head. When he was growing up (unfortunately his father passed away when he was 14) his father was the final word on all things. His mother, who is a very sweet woman, could 'petition' for things she wanted but his father's final word was law. I was raised in a very open liberal family and I am offended that my fiance seems to think that I should, in the end, do as he says. I'm a grown woman and a hardcore feminist...suggestions on how I can solve this like an adult?

I am involved with a much older man and have been for several years...he has grown children and has been married twice. He brings up the age issue from time to time but its never bothered me before. Has anyone ever broken off a relationship due to age? Do you think that the saying "Age is just a number" is true? Isn't it more about compatibility and feelings than anything else?

when you travel around your own country or around the world, you are looking for a good cooking and delicious meals, but what happen when you arrive to a place and ask for their typical food.

Even if the food looks like French; you just taste a little, and haha; you realize that you would never never ever in your life, you ate a terrible food; there you could imagine how i felt when it happened to me.

Tell me, which was? where? and what happened after that?

I am 19, going to my second year of college and I jus found out I am pregnant.I am like 5 weeks, and I told my mom. She suggested I have an abortion or give the baby up for adoption. But I do not want to do that. She says that is selfish when another family could provide a more financially stable life for my child. I do work two jobs, have my own apartment and drive the car my mom bought me. I want to go to school, work and have the baby but if its to much i will finish school later.I think we will be okay as far as money. The only issue i havent figured out is living arrangements for nex year. What should I do? If I give my child up for adoption (to me abortion is not even a choice because that is technically murder)I will regret it and will only do it for my mother. But if I keep it,she will look at me differently, take the car,and might not want anything to do with me or the child. Eventually she might come around but I do not want to be a dissappointment to her by not go to school

I got bit by a very small tick a few months ago. Though his head wasn't still there or anything, the place of the bite became very infected and funny looking. It took weeks for it to heal, which I thought odd because of how small the tick was. When that finally went away, it wasn't long after that that I started getting sick with all these random crazy things (diarrhea, abdominal pain, headaches, severe chest pain/heartburn, dizzy spells, nausea, random weakness, heart palpitations, feeling hot/cold at the same time-getting flush and goosebumps all at once, etc).

My symptoms come and go at random. I had heart problems as a kid, but I've outgrown them--or so I thought. Suddenly my symptoms have come back. Crohn's also runs in my family, but I don't have the right symptoms for that. Is my IBS just getting worse?

The first doctor I went to told me "there's no Lyme's disease in this area," even though I know someone who's daughter just recently had it.

I'm 22/female, by the way..

I keep watching on TV all those talkshows with the paternity test, and how it always turns out, he's not the father. So it makes me think what would I do if someone tells me I have a child. The first thing I would do, is get the paternity test, not to wait. At least I don't understand why they don't do it sooner, but if somehow I had the child for a while and then find out it's not mine. I wouldn't keep it. But that's me.

What would you do?

At a time when ex-conservatives are piling up and the Democrats are poised to make gains this year in the House and Senate, the neo-cons are sweating. They've figured out they cannot ride on Bush's fanatsy of a neo-con uptopia forever, so more than once around here I and other non-conservatives have been lied about in questions, even impersonated.

I thought conseravtives had more class than that,if not all this alleged information to go on to state their case, but I guess I was wrong. As a proud American,WHY would someone who "liberally" uses words like "babykiller" to describe Americans who think the government should stay out of private hospitals accuse others of "hating" their country.

Remember the term "Moral Values"?
Remember"Thou Shalt Not Lie"?
Us Liberals LOVE our country.Get it right.

Are they THAT desperate? It sure looks it.

I have my cell phone set and hearts light up for only certain people. Other people have to leave a message. Should I feel guilty or do you do it too? Thanks!
