I'm 17 and i never went out with a boy. There were boys that wanted to go out with me, but i they were't my type, or younger so i said no. My friends all have boyfriends, is it normal i'm still single?

For instance, the oil prices went up when the FEAR of a hurricane in the Gulf was announced. OH wait! No hurricane! Prices did not drop though! Then, the fear of Israel's strike on Lebanon POSSIBLY causing Iran/Syria or other "oil nations" to cut supply. This didn't happen. However, the Alaska pipeline debacle DID happen, and they're raising prices AGAIN! How can they do that when prices never came back down for the hurricane that never happened, and the supply disruption from the Middle East never occuring?!?! Someone, please help me understand, or just at least spike the price of oil to some absurd number and LEAVE IT THERE so we can all budget our finances accordingly!!

When i'm phoning up to enquire the simplest things they all say "can I just take your name and address" or "WE NEED your postcode" or something like that, and I'm not sure if that's even legal?
If I refused I expect they'd say we can't help you then. I'm interested in whether or not they are allowed to ask for such info before I make a fuss about it on the phone.
Also do similar things happen to you? (sorry I had no idea what category to put this in but since i'm concerned about the info getting in the wrong hands or being used for unknown purposes I put it here)

When I'm driving, the oil pressure goes back to normal. When I slow down and stop, it dips REALLY low. I can't seem to figure it out. Obviously I'm concerned about engine damage but don't have to dough to take it to a shop just yet.

omg i love panic! but why are the names of their songs so long?!?! and why do all of the songs never mention the name of the song??? i mean, i know that some artists have one or two songs that are like that but all of them?!?!?!

We seem to have few, if any, affordable electric cars out now. Most cars out, that the middle class could afford, are uglier than sin in design, and go about 80mph maximum. I guess we could always return to horses for a while until the car companies pull their heads out of their butts...but how long would that take after the last drop of gas falls?

I have MS, and I know pretty much all there is to know about it. But recently, my heart has been beating funny. Went to doc, said it was a re-polarization problem. Sinus arythmia and brachardia (I think that's what she said). Yet, I talked to another person with MS, and she said that it can cause my heart problems.

Fear can be the one's emotion that always helps you make the right decision. Other emotions can lead you down the wrong path. Anger, jealousy, sadness, bliss - you name it. Good or bad, they take you out of the moment and cloud your thinking so you could easily make a dumb choice. Not so with fear. when you're scared, you pretty much know what you have to do. Usually, it's to get the heck away from whatever it is you're scared of. Fear heightens your senses and makes your thinking do clear, you stand a better chance of beating whatever you're afraid of. When you're afraid, you're On. So what do you think? is fear good or it's worst emotion of all?
