At 7 weeks I saw my baby's head and the beginnings of the arms and legs. It was about the size of a peanut, but it was clearly human to me. The heartbeat made it even more real.

It depends on your definition of normal human! They begin to really look human and have features that are identifiable around 8-10 weeks. A lot depends on the skill of the sonographer, the weight of the woman, and the class of machine being used. A vaginal ultrasound generally yields a clearer and more detailed picture earlier on.

Arms and leg "buds" can sometimes be seen around 7.5-8 weeks on transvaginal ultrasound. The full "human" form can easily be seen transabdominally (except in the very obese) by 10.5 -11 weeks.

Your question is a little confusing. Regular ultrasounds are black & white and show general features. Head, legs, arms, body, private parts, some skeletal masses. Now they have the 3D and 4D ustrasounds that they can do later in the pregnancy and it can pick up the facial features very, very well.

I had an ultrasound at 11wks and it deff looked like a human baby. Head was still large but it looked human.

Usually around 18 - 20 weeks along in your pregnancy. The head is still a little bit big, but you can see arms and legs and stuff then. And you can usually tell if it's a boy or a girl!
I just had one last week...it was amazing! We even got to see her little button nose!

My baby looked like a human on the sonogram at 8 weeks. It was an internal sonogram but she was normal....

I had my first ultrasound at 17 weeks it was amazing!!!!!
