The nearer the equator you are the quicker night falls and day breaks - why is this? My guess is that it's something to do with the curvature of the earth.

Hi there, I know Iraqi who worked in Iraqi Embassy in The Hague. He's Iraqi native, but after spending 3 month's at embassy he was very disappointed in every aspect. I remember him (10 years ago) telling' me about high educated Arabs and low minded Europeans, we spend hours of argue. But now, this guy is fully changed his point of view. He saw the ambassador calling people "DOG" (kél'b) or "Cr-ap" ('hara) and most of the stuff coming to work in sport clothing and latest models of Mercedes, no less if you have not the latest model you're disgrace for them. Minister of defense shouting at people, general representing what army? This guy I'm talking about, called Iraq "Country full of sh-it and rotting cadavers, he's hoping they oil will end quickly to put them back where they all belong "Sandstorms and camels"".
I am pro American, and hearing this from Iraqi I really doubt that they deserve the effort (and own loses) American giving them...
What do you think about it?

As new parents with a baby 6m, seems a greater spotlight has been placed on our relationship. Over enthusiastic inlaws wanting to stay weekends regularly has brought a rift between us as I gently asked them to space their visits to us. I am overwhelmed as a working mother and have my own large family wanting to visit. My husband who is close to them was furious + his crying mother on the phone brought response: upset them, you upset me. Further things said by him was that I am selfish; I don't understand you. I pleaed for him to have empathy with me + that the visits situation is not an all or nothing, but a balance. He barely spoke to me for days

Our financials have some pressure now, my own self employed work suffers for lack of time with baby. I have a business dept to manage. He says it is my debt to sort myself, but recently u-turned to say it is ours.

We are at peace but I worry he's not yet said words that bring me emotional security. Can we get back on track?

Our daughter aged 8 weeks has a cavernous haemangioma which is a cluster of blood vessels beneath the surface of the skin which looks like a raised purplish lump (on her head).

Does anyone else have a child with this type of birthmark as we would like to know how big it is likely to get and when it will stop growing and start to recede. Has anyone had treatment? At what age would it be gone on its own?

Thanks.

My best friends ex b/f (they broke up 3 months ago & are trying 2 be friends) said he really likes me & tried 2 kiss me last night at her birthday party! I thought it was really inapropriate. Should I tell her? I don't feel right hiding things from her, but at the same time I'm not sure it would achieve anything by telling her? What do you think

This may or may not be the title, but definitely is a dominant line in the song. So I'd like to know both the title and artist.

I haven’t found a search engine yet that has helped me solve this mystery. I have heard this song 3 times now on a Utah high school radio station (KOHS) and, amazingly, none of DJ's there have been able to figue out the Title nor the Artist this song! Here's the sentence fragments and words I have been able to pick out so far (at least it sounded like these words in this song):

Loving you was fine fine fine...nite and day thinking of you...in my mind...nothing else to do...through my mind ...memories...

This has what sounds like possibly a female lead singer and this probably fits the "Alternative" genre. "Loving you was fine fine fine" is easily the most memorable and dominant line. The vocals are vaguely reminiscent of Gwen Stefani in some quirky sense but it's not likely to be her here.
