Hi there, I know Iraqi who worked in Iraqi Embassy in The Hague. He's Iraqi native, but after spending 3 month's at embassy he was very disappointed in every aspect. I remember him (10 years ago) telling' me about high educated Arabs and low minded Europeans, we spend hours of argue. But now, this guy is fully changed his point of view. He saw the ambassador calling people "DOG" (kél'b) or "Cr-ap" ('hara) and most of the stuff coming to work in sport clothing and latest models of Mercedes, no less if you have not the latest model you're disgrace for them. Minister of defense shouting at people, general representing what army? This guy I'm talking about, called Iraq "Country full of sh-it and rotting cadavers, he's hoping they oil will end quickly to put them back where they all belong "Sandstorms and camels"".
I am pro American, and hearing this from Iraqi I really doubt that they deserve the effort (and own loses) American giving them...
What do you think about it?

Nobody's perfect. The helpless will always need help, the homeless will always need homes, and the defenseless will always need defended - no matter their nationality or if they deserve it. That's why we are over there.

I am an American and I believe in what we are trying to accomplish in Iraq. Yet I am so tired of hearing how evil we are by some of my countrymen that I almost wish we'd just stay home and let the rest of the world fend for itself. It seems like the more we try and help the more hated we are. Either a lot of the world is on the side of the terrorists for whatever reason or their hatred for our current president has made them take a vacation from reality. Or maybe I have just lost it? But seems like plain old common sense isn't very common anymore.

(CBS) When no weapons of mass destruction surfaced in Iraq, President Bush insisted that all those WMD claims before the war were the result of faulty intelligence. But a former top CIA official, Tyler Drumheller — a 26-year veteran of the agency — has decided to do something CIA officials at his level almost never do: Speak out.

He tells correspondent Ed Bradley the real failure was not in the intelligence community but in the White House. He says he saw how the Bush administration, time and again, welcomed intelligence that fit the president's determination to go to war and turned a blind eye to intelligence that did not.

"The policy was set. The war in Iraq was coming and they were looking for intelligence to fit into the policy."

Regardless of causes and results, before US invasion of Iraq 2003, there was a sovereign entity called Repubic of Iraq, now nothing, administrative dept were ruined, and divided among different sects and parties. no one is safe, no one lives better life, no one can secure his business, and no one is allowed to have his freedom of worship.
Rich people are subject to kidnapping anytime anywhere and in front police eyes, poor are not aware of the future, businesses suffers from emergency holidays and emergency stop hours, muslims are exterminating muslims, non-muslims are pursued.

Uncle SAM did great efforts and favors !!!

Well I am American too and I think we are nothing but a colonizing empire hypocritically hiding behind democracy, peace, and other just causes.

In fact, if our administration had no interest in Mid east oil, we wouldn't be there!!

Helping them? we killed more people in couple of years than saddam did in 35 years!

And we can all see the democracy we provided there!
