I have been entered by my cifu in a martial arts tournament for beginners. Its semi contact. I have not fought properly before even in semi contact. My main weaknesses are power (I weigh only 145) anyway), flexability and endurance. Any relavent tips?

My boyfriend makes me so sick at times but then he makes up in some of the most amazin ways. He has cheated on me before and im pregnant. I have been recently dating a VP for Finance for a company. From initial conversations he invited me to a weekend musical show which would see us overnighting for three days. I refused the three days invitation and told him I would go only for one night and that I would drive down,,, for fear of the physical contact too soon. He then gave me ticket for one night.

However, the night before the trip he was by my place and we were petting, penetration took place with a lot of tension. I then decided that if that had happened I could then go to the entire show with him. I told him this in the morning and it seemed fine.

Now on the evening I am ready and when I called he said he was already on his way as he had to transport the tickets for the function (which was not planned).

Now he didnt call to tell me this I had to call. He has since called and I did not answer, telling me he apologises for the mishap and would still love me to come down the next night.

What would you do?

Here in the UK we have religiously segregated schools which are supported in part by public money - e.g. CofE schools, RC schools and now (I believe) even Muslim schools.

Should we work towards a situation in which the state only funds secular schools, and the law requires children to attend one of those schools? That doesn't mean that we should make private religiously segregated schools illegal, but that all children should have the same standard of secular education, and that any attendance at religious school would have to be out of normal school hours. If not, why not?

I think we will be failing our children and creating conditions for a more divided, intolerant society if we don't work towards this goal. We *must* learn the lessons of places like Northern Ireland.

I have never bought a car. I have no credit and I'm a full-time student. I would have to get a loan and get a co-signer since I have no credit. My dad took my car so I have no way to get around and my University is in afairly big city in the South. Taxi's are rare so public transportation is out. I'm curious why there never seem to be any references made to findings and/or discoveries made that counter, challenge and/or refute Darwin's theory in the mainstream media. Please don't tell me that "these don't exist", because I've found quite a few while searching online (some are hokey, true, but some are very convincing, at least to the point that I have to wonder why these reports don't appear in the mainstream news.)
Why does the media seem so slanted towards exlusively supporting Evolution without ever focusining on alternative teachings?
