Its called coprophagia and its a really common problem. There are two things you can try, the first is to add a couple of pineapple chunks to her food. Pineapple containd papain, an enzyme that breaks down protein and will help her digest the food more efficiently.
The second is to see your vet. There's an injection they can give your dog and almost exactly 20 minutes later she will vomit. Its completely harmless. You usually use it to cure dogs of eating chicken bones off the pavement (serious problem if you've got a guide dog!). The problem is the timing; she'd have to have the jab, go to the loo and try to eat it after20 minutes.
So if she'll eat it when its not fresh you can try that if your vet's willing.
Please remember that iron tablets are toxic to dogs, don't feed them to him.

Both my labs did this (horse poo even better!)and one ate the cat litter too!!!! Both the dog trainer and the vet said it was perfectly normal (very common behaviour) and suggested a better diet of vegetables mixed in with gravy into their dog food. The problem cleared up within a few months and both dogs grew out of it!

Unfortunately, once they get a taste for poo it is a very difficult, if not impossible, habit to break. In the long run it's easier to just pick the poop up right away.

Your dog is defecient in vitamins, that is why he is munching his mess.
It is very common, he just needs his diet balanced out, I think it is low iron, but don't quote me on that.
Give a vet a call, or check out a veterinary website.
