I saw the answer to this question on the Discovery channel. They could be wrong with their answer but that is the one i am going by. So good luck.

My guess would be Coke or Coca-Cola. You can ask for a Coke almost anywhere in the world.

its actually quite obvious if u think about it no would usually come to most peoples minds but that cant be right cause no one likes to be told no and OK is sorta the opposite of that so something that goes with OK and is understood by all people in the world even if u r deaf is yes

It might be "No" which may not be spoken formally in every language, but seems to be understood in every language. I've done a lot of travelling and saying "No" always meant "no" wherever I went, even if the native word was something else.
