when i charge my computer, the battery power goes on for only about 30 minutes when i try to go wireless. do i need a new battery that will last longer or something? and to charge the battery you just plug the adapter into the laptop and just let it sit right? sorry i'm kind of new at this. and yes, this happens even when i charge it for days. my laptop runs on windows xp professional and it's a dell latitude c600. please answer.

Okay, we have decided to have another baby so we were told by family planning to go off the pill and use a condom for three months while I take prenatal vitamins.

I am taking the vitamins.

We honestly forgot the condom the first time and when I reminded my fiance the second time he asked if it really matters.

I heard from somewhere that God used to speak directly to people like Adam. Adam would be able to just stand up and hear what God had to say to him, but I also heard that God at one point stopped directly communicating with his people. Why is this so? any clues?

A couple of weeks ago this guy that I have kind of liked gave me the stare down. But I had to go that day, so I could not really flirt back. So the next time we were together I was prepared for him to come to me and talk to me. I wait and wait and he just looks but does not stare. I guess I am wrong for being the type of girl who want the guy to say something first. Now I am like, let me show this guy that I am interested, cause he might not think I like him. So a few days ago I gave him the looks and he had some pretty great moments to say something but he says nothing....nada. Should I just leave this guy alone or what? I know this sounds like a teenager situation and I am to old for this. But it is just bugging me:D LOL!!!!!

For decades woman (and some feminized men) have complained about lack of opportunity in the workplace. They claim mistreatment by men or lack of opportunity to advance beyond some "phantom" glass ceiling. They claim to be paid only 70 cent for every dollar paid to men doing the same job. (a frequently quoted statistic that is tenous at best as far as being factual). Essentially, they claim there is some concerted effort by "THE MAN" to keep them down and that if they were given a level playing field they would match or surpass the levels of success tradtionally acheived by men in the corporate world. ALL THAT BEING SAID, I believe its true that women, as a group, cannot get along with each other in the workplace. Cattiness, back stabbing, gossiping, etc. They undermine each other every chance they get!!! If they could pull together and knock off the self defeating behaviors as a group, just think what could be achieved! SO..why can't women getting along on the job???

I'm a pretty curvey girl, so alot of my weight is in my "love handles". I gained a few pounds the past couple of months, and now I'm going to Florida in 2 weeks and I want to lose ATLEAST 5 lbs and look good for the beach! I'm at 122 right now and I want to go down to 115. I'm TERRIBLE at dieting and exercising but if someone can give me an awesome diet to stick to and actually work in 2 weeks, that would be great.
